I am inspired by the vastness of natural world, especially visions of sky and trees. I am constantly trying to capture the grandeur and the color of the landscape with images suggesting horizons and a sense of what lies beyond.
I work in oil with palette knives and blades.
I am a painter, a writer, a lover of the outdoors. I’ve lived in various parts of the United States, much of it in the mountains of Colorado, where I skied, backpacked, and whitewater rafted.
I began painting after moving to Dayton in 2005. I have taken classes at Rosewood Art Centre and Sinclair Community College, and I am an active member of the Dayton Society of Artists.
